Making Gains: Closing Racial/Ethnic-Economic Divide in Academic Achievement in the Early Years of Schooling
Dr. Madlene P. Hamilton will present a working paper entitled, Making Gains: Closing Racial/Ethnic-Economic Divide in Academic Achievement in the Early Years of Schooling. Dr. Hamilton's research examines critical issues in elementary and secondary education with an eye toward providing a space where groundbreaking research and the experience of accomplished practitioners can be brought to bear on one another in productive ways. Four respondents will provide their commentary on the presentation. Come and join the discussion with a diverse group of stakeholders including researchers, teachers, school leaders, policy makers and the interested public.
